EGO Arms Seller Agreement

To Create a Listing on EGO Arms, you must: (a) be at least 18 years of age; (b) be a U.S. resident; (c) be legally permitted to possess and transfer the firearm you are listing; (d) complete the Seller Verification process including identity confirmation; and (e) agree to this Seller Agreement in full.

FFL-licensed dealers who wish to list multiple firearms regularly must complete the Dealer Onboarding process, which includes providing a copy of your Federal Firearms License and accepting the Dealer-Specific Addendum to this Agreement.

Private sellers (non-FFL) may list firearms they personally own. Private sellers may not exceed 12 listings per calendar year without completing dealer verification. Sellers who appear to operate as unlicensed dealers will be flagged for ATF referral.

Every listing submitted to EGO Arms must comply with all of the following standards before it will be approved for publication:

  Photos: Minimum 6 photographs taken from standardized angles (left profile, right profile, muzzle, action/receiver, grips/stocks, accessories or documentation). Photos must be in focus, adequately lit, and taken by the seller — stock photos are prohibited.

  Description: Minimum 150 words. Must include make, model, caliber, year of manufacture (if known), condition justification, provenance, and any accessories included.

  Condition Grade: Must accurately reflect the firearm's actual condition per the Condition Grading Guide. Sellers who consistently over-grade will be required to submit additional documentation.

  Known Flaws: All known defects, damage, wear, or imperfections must be explicitly listed — regardless of how minor. Omission of known flaws is grounds for listing removal and dispute resolution in the buyer's favor.

  Round Count: Seller's best estimate of rounds fired must be provided. "Unknown" is an acceptable answer. Leaving this blank is not.
• ›
  Serial Number: Serial number must be on file with EGO Arms but need not be displayed publicly. Providing a false serial number is grounds for immediate permanent ban and federal reporting.

  FFL Declaration: Seller must accurately declare whether FFL transfer is required (standard for all modern handguns and rifles) or if the item qualifies for C&R or antique exemption.

EGO Arms charges no mandatory platform commission. A 6.5% service fee applies only when sellers use GunTab for payment — all other payment methods carry no EGO Arms fee. Optional listing upgrades are charged at time of selection.

The GunTab service fee is calculated on the hammer price (winning bid) only, excluding shipping costs. Off-platform payment methods (Zelle, Cash App, PayPal F&F) carry no EGO Arms commission. Fees are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

All payments are arranged directly between buyer and seller off-platform. EGO Arms does not process, hold, or transfer funds at any point in the transaction. Common payment methods include Zelle, PayPal Friends & Family, Cash App, and GunTab (a firearms-specific third-party escrow service).

Sellers must ship within 5 business days of receiving payment confirmation from the buyer. If a dispute arises, both parties are expected to cooperate with EGO Arms staff and provide payment documentation. EGO Arms may suspend accounts pending dispute resolution but cannot intercept or reverse off-platform payments.

Upon a successful auction close, the seller is responsible for shipping the firearm to the buyer's designated FFL dealer within 5 business days of receiving confirmed payment. Sellers who fail to ship within this window without a documented reason (and communication with the buyer) are subject to a non-performance penalty and negative feedback.

  Handguns must be shipped via common carrier (UPS or FedEx) to a licensed FFL. USPS may be used for long guns.

  All firearms must be shipped in a locked container or with a trigger lock.
• ›
  Sellers must purchase a minimum of $500 shipping insurance (or the full sale price, whichever is greater).
• ›
  Tracking number must be entered into the EGO Arms order system within 24 hours of shipment.

Sellers are legally and contractually responsible for the accuracy of all information in their listings. Misrepresentation includes: describing a higher condition grade than actual, omitting known defects, providing inaccurate specifications, using misleading photos, or misrepresenting the firearm's legal status (e.g., claiming C&R eligibility that doesn't apply).

If a buyer files a verified misrepresentation dispute, the seller is required to accept the return of the firearm and refund the full hammer price plus the buyer's FFL transfer fee and return shipping costs. Any GunTab service fee paid is not refunded. Repeat misrepresentation violations result in permanent account termination.

EGO Arms provides a structured dispute resolution process for disagreements between buyers and sellers. Sellers must respond to all open disputes within 48 hours of notification. Failure to respond is treated as admission of the buyer's claim.

EGO Arms acts as a neutral mediator. We do not take sides unless evidence is clear and material. Our decision in a dispute is final and binding per the Terms of Service both parties agreed to at registration. See the full Dispute Resolution Process.

EGO Arms reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any seller account for violations of this Agreement, the Terms of Service, or the Prohibited Items Policy. Upon termination, any outstanding payouts for completed transactions will be processed normally. Payouts for disputed transactions will be resolved through our dispute process.

Sellers who believe they were terminated in error may appeal within 30 days by contacting EGO Arms support with documentation supporting their case. Appeals are reviewed by a senior team member not involved in the original decision.

By submitting any listing on EGO Arms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Seller Agreement in its entirety. This Agreement was last updated June 11, 2026.
